Temporary suspension of our face-to-face services and events in Athens and Thessaloniki

Our offices in Athens and Thessaloniki are currently closed to the public in line with the advice of the national authorities. All our face-to-face English courses, exams, education services – including document translation and verification – and public events have been temporarily suspended until further notice.

We are working on ways to provide alternative solutions for remote and digital delivery of our services where operationally feasible.

Teaching Centres

Our face-to-face teaching has been temporarily suspended in accordance with guidelines issued by the authorities.

We have launched a virtual offer for adult students and a child-safe platform for our primary and secondary children to continue their learning.

If you are one of our students or parents, check your email regularly for updates on the virtual offer for you or your child.

Cambridge English Qualifications

In an effort to accommodate the needs of Foreign Language School owners, partner schools and individual candidates, we have extended the registration deadline for the May and June 2020 B2 First (FCE) for Schools, C1 Advanced (CAE), C2 Proficiency (CPE), A2 Key (KET) for Schools, B1 Preliminary (PET) for Schools and Young Learners (YLE): Pre A1 Starters, A1 Movers, A2 Flyers examinations to Wednesday 15 April 2020.

Foreign Language Schools, partner schools and individual candidates can register through our online registration system.

We are monitoring all developments closely in co-operation with Cambridge Assessment English. Dates for the May 2020 examination session may be modified depending on the advice of the national authorities. We will notify all partner schools and individual candidates of any changes at the earliest opportunity.

IELTS tests

IELTS tests scheduled up until 26 April 2020 have been postponed in all locations in Greece. Information has been sent to registered candidates by email, including instructions for transferring to a new test date.

School examinations (GCE, GCSE, International GCSE, IAL)

We are aware of the recent announcement by the UK school examinations boards not to run the May/June 2020 international school examinations (GCE, IGCSE, GCSE, IAL) worldwide. We are working closely with the examination boards and will share more information with candidates as soon we are able.

UK education information webinars

Following the closure of our offices in Athens and Thessaloniki, we are pleased to announce the launch of a series of UK education information webinars.

Document translation and verification

Our face-to-face translation and verification services have been suspended until further notice. Translation and verification services are only available via ACS Courier. For further information, visit our document translation and verification webpage.

Cultural activity

We are putting our arts and other cultural activity on hold with a view to rescheduling when it becomes possible. We are exploring ways of digitising our programmes and connecting with our audiences online.

Call Centre

Our Call Centre remains open Monday to Friday, 10.00–17.00. Considering the unusually large number of enquiries that we receive daily, there may be a short delay in our responses.
