An interactive learning adventure to build your child’s confidence

Our summer courses will spark students’ imaginations, so they can express themselves with confidence that goes beyond their English language skills. Your child will work on an exciting range of practical and challenging tasks that encourage creative thinking in a digital world.

Summer English school. Anytime. Anywhere.

Not sure how your summer plans may change? Our modular English courses for children and teenagers can fit around whatever you decide to do during your holiday. Wherever you may be.

Four modules to mix and match

This summer we offer four one-week modules. Each of them is an independent unit of study, so you can register your child for just one or for any combination of modules that suits your plans and budget.

Delivered entirely online

All of our summer English courses will be online. This will help keep everyone safe and will give you the freedom to be anywhere. Whether you’re at home or out of town, all you’ll need is a laptop and a reliable internet connection.

Live lessons, expert teachers and interactive learning

Summer courses for primary and secondary students (6–14 years)

Happy learners make confident speakers! There are many reasons your child will love our live classes:

  • lots of time to practise speaking English, having fun learning with classmates of the same age
  • classes aren’t too long, so your child maintains their attention throughout.

Your child will also develop leadership, collaboration and critical thinking skills in a relaxed environment where they can be themselves. They will:

  • work in teams or pairs to practise speaking, problem-solving and collaborating on projects with a focus on real-world topics like the natural world and the environment
  • build resilience and get used to communicating and collaborating online with others in preparation for life in a global, digital world.

How we teach online

We know that working on a screen can be more challenging and intense than in a classroom. To ensure students get the most out of their online learning, we use a new combination of:

  • live online classes with their teacher and classmates
  • interactive independent study, set by your child’s teacher to prepare them for the live lesson – all in a safe, easy-to-use learning environment.

This way the face-to-face screen time during the live class is used for an immersive and productive lesson – without being too long or too tiring. Which means we can maintain students’ attention throughout the whole lesson, allowing them more time to speak, participate and build confidence.

What a one-week module looks like

Your child will study English five days a week – Monday to Friday.

Each one-week module includes a total of:

  • ten hours of live online classes
  • five hours of interactive guided learning.

This means that each day your child will have:

  • two hours of live online classes (with a 15-minute break)*
  • one hour of interactive guided learning on the online portal.

* Exact timetable to be confirmed between 09.00 and 13.00.

Technical requirements

Online courses can be accessed using a desktop computer, laptop or tablet. You can’t use a mobile phone because we want to make sure all our students enjoy a quality learning experience.

For your child’s learning experience to be effective, you will need:

  • a good Wi-Fi connection
  • a microphone – if you have a headset or headphones with a built-in microphone this is ideal
  • a speaker and a webcam.
