All of our passionate and dedicated teachers meet the highest international standards with formal qualifications and extensive experience in teaching English to children.

Our minimum requirements for teachers are:

  • Education to degree level or equivalent qualification
  • A certificate level qualification in teaching English as a foreign language such as Cambridge University CELTA or Trinity College London CertTESOL
  • At least two years’ teaching experience
  • High proficiency in the use of the English language

Annita

“It's very exciting to see kids explore the world while learning English. I love helping kids learn through multi-sensory activities and games that they love!”

Annita was born in Greece and has a degree in English Literature, an MA in Translation and an MA in Conference Interpreting.

She has been teaching English for eight years, four of which she has spent teaching in our partner school I.M. Panagiotopoulos.

Carla

“I am passionate, enthusiastic and bring energy to the classroom. I believe every student is important. Therefore I adapt my lessons to them as individuals, and provide stimulating and enjoyable lessons.”

Carla was born in England and has a degree in Creative Studies and a CELTA.

Before coming to Greece, she taught English in summer schools in England, Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia.

Eleni K.

Born in Greece, Eleni has a degree in English Literature, an MA in Human Resources Management, a Certificate in Special Needs/Learning Difficulties and is studying towards obtaining an MEd in TESOL Education. She's been teaching young learners and adults for over 5 years.

Eleni P.

Born in Greece, Eleni has a degree in Public Administration, a certificate in TESOL teaching, a CELTA, a DELTA Module 1 and is studying towards obtaining DELTA Module 2 & 3.

In 2008 she began teaching English as a trainee in Cape Town, South Africa and since 2009 she teaches English to young learners and adults in Greece.

Gwyn

I enjoy teaching students of all ages and when I plan my lessons I try to include a range of games and activities which will help them learn and enjoy English.

Born in North Wales, Gwyn has a degree in Philosophy and Religious Education, a CELTA, and is studying for a PGCE in Secondary Education.

His teaching experience began in 2005 when he became an academic mentor to international university students and later volunteered as a teaching assistant in the UK. He has taught in Greece since 2011.

Martha

“Creating many different lesson types is demanding but highly interesting for me. Using many different tools such as drawing, playing games, reading stories, singing and miming as well as interactive boards, helps me create a fun and memorable learning experience for all of us!” 

Born in Greece, Martha has a degree in Arts, an MA in Applied Linguistics, a certificate in Social Sciences and a certificate in Teaching Young Learners.

She has almost 1,000 hours of experience teaching young learners.
