Don’t miss The Creative Economy – an Infinite Opportunity for Growth, an international conference which is being organised in collaboration with the philanthropic advisory Elpis. The conference will bring together an interesting line-up of internationally acclaimed professionals to discuss the creative economy and the significant role it plays in economic and social development.
In Greece, the creative economy is in a state of constant development and the current economic crisis poses the greatest challenge to the creation of new culturally-minded businesses and organisations. The conference will give you the opportunity to discuss key issues and explore the interplay between knowledge, culture and the economy.
Speakers at the conference include Chris Smith, President of the UK Environment Agency and a visiting professor in culture and the creative industries at the University of the Arts London; Felipe Buitrago Restrepo, economist and author of The Orange Economy – An Infinite Opportunity; Dr Andrew Senior, a specialist in matters of creative entrepreneurship and intellectual property; and Professor Stuart MacDonald, who specialises in creativity, design and innovation.
Simultaneous interpretation from/into English/Greek will be provided.
Admission is free following registration.
