Funding for alumni-led ideas that create real impact

Are you a UK alumnus/alumna with an idea to make a difference in your community?

The Alumni UK Grant Programme 2026–27 offers grants to support innovative, impactful and collaborative projects led by international UK alumni.

Whether you’re launching a new initiative or scaling an existing one, this is your opportunity to turn ideas into action.

What we’re looking for

We support projects that:

  • deliver measurable impact
  • introduce innovative or creative approaches
  • strengthen collaboration and knowledge sharing
  • can be implemented within five (5) months.

Thematic focus areas

Climate action and sustainability

Projects addressing climate change and environmental sustainability through practical, community-driven or creative approaches.

Inclusion, reducing inequality and empowerment

Projects that promote inclusion, expand opportunities and empower underrepresented or marginalised groups.

Who can apply?

Applicants must:

  • be a UK alumnus/alumna (at least one term of study at a UK institution)
  • be a national of and currently resident in one of the eligible countries: Brazil, China, France, Germany, Greece, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Turkey, UAE, Viet Nam
  • submit one application only
  • be independent of political affiliations.

Funding and timeline

  • Grants amount up to €5,700 (including VAT) per project based in Greece; funding will be given to up to two projects in Greece
  • Project duration: Five (5) months
