Athens & Epidaurus

In partnership with the 9th Athens Open Air Film Festival, and as part of our 80th anniversary celebrations in Greece, we return once again this year with a tribute to masterpieces of British cinema. Entitled #British80, this year’s programme takes us on a cinematic journey through the decades, spanning the late 1940s right through to the 1990s.

A variety of outdoor venues around the Greek capital – archaeological sites, parks, squares and some of the most beautiful city spots – will be transformed into open-air cinemas, all with free admission to the public. This highly anticipated celebration of cinema in and around Athens is an alternative and disarmingly beautiful way to watch films while simultaneously experiencing the city in a different way – this summer, the evenings will light up with the magic of British cinema.
