British crime writer Clare Mackintosh
Date
Thursday 09 May 2019 to Friday 10 May 2019
Location
Athens & Thessaloniki

As part of our 80th anniversary celebrations in Greece, we are delighted to invite you to meet UK crime fiction writer Clare Mackintosh. Mackintosh is visiting Athens and Thessaloniki, where she will take part in two discussions organised in collaboration with Metaichmio publications and the Thessaloniki International Book Fair.

Clare Mackintosh, regarded as a rising star in the genre of crime fiction, has earned recognition in Greece and worldwide with her intelligent and masterfully written psychological thrillers – gripping and addictive from the first to the last page – with constant murderous twists and turns, and shocking finales.

The discussions in both cities will focus on her books, her life and work, and crime fiction in general. In Athens the discussion will be facilitated by Greek writer Antonis Gkoltsos, while in Thessaloniki Clare Mackintosh will have the opportunity to discuss her work with fellow writer and translator of her books, Vassia Tzanakari.

Consecutive interpretation from English will be provided.
