Join us at our European Day of Languages Multilingual Festival

Celebrate this year’s European Day of Languages with us at Serafio City of Athens on Saturday 28 September 2019 from 11.00 to 18.00.

Fourteen EUNIC Athens members, in collaboration with representatives from the European Commission in Greece, the State Scholarships Foundation, the Foreign Language Teaching Centre of the University of Athens and the Alumni Association of Teaching Foreign Languages in Europe, will present a multilingual festival of song, discussions, dance, storytelling and interactive games for all the family, as well as a treasure hunt with a prize draw every hour.

Visit our stand to meet us and learn all about our programmes, English language courses and exams. Take part in Slime, a fun English and science experiment for children aged 6 to 12; watch a teacher, parent and student discuss English language learning from their unique perspectives; and listen to the I.M.Panagiotopoulos student choir perform!

Programme

  • 13.50: Three questions – Three people. What will they say?
Discussion on English Language and digital literacy
The discussion is part of our iRead programme, a four-year (2017–20) innovation project funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 (EUH2020).
  • 14.05: We’re all in this together
Song performed by the student choir of I.M.Panagiotopoulos School
