Konstantinos Stergiou

Konstantinos Stergiou is an Economist holding a PhD from the University of Western Macedonia. His professional activity focuses on both formal and non-formal education. Since 2007, he has gained many years’ experience working as an economist – business consultant, trainer, educator and career consultant. As a Youth Trainer, he has provided non-formal learning education services in 21 countries around the world in the fields of social entrepreneurship and youth work.

Phaedra Tsalampampouni

Phaedra Tsalampampouni was born in Greece but was raised in Kenya. She studied French and Japanese at Cardiff University and also acquired an HND in the design and implementation of educational programmes. She has been involved in the design of numerous educational programmes for the Theocharakis Foundation, the Gaia Centre and Fair Trade Hellas. In 2009 she moved to Japan, where she worked as an English Teacher and held teaching posts in eight different schools.

Academic Manager, British Council Greece

Cliff Parry (MSc TEYL, RSA DTEFLA, BSc, Dip. Management) is Academic Manager at the British Council Greece and has been living and teaching in Greece since 1986. He has a wide range of teaching experience across all course types and ages, as well as extensive training experience. He has written numerous articles for professional journals and ELT publications, and has co-authored a number of English language teaching titles. He has also worked on social inclusion projects for a number of years.

Maria Nomikou

Partnerships & Programmes Manager, British Council Greece

Maria Nomikou studied Theatre Studies at the University of Athens and has attended numerous courses in Greece and abroad. As a member of the pool of trainers of the European Youth Forum she has worked closely with the Council of Europe, the European Commission, the OSCE in Kosovo, as well as with Ministries of Education in three countries. She has co-authored/edited five publications. She has worked with the British Council since 2011 on the Connecting Classrooms and Life Skills programmes.
