Alumni Awards 2017 winners

The Study UK Alumni Awards celebrate the outstanding achievements of alumni and showcase the impact and value of a UK higher education. For the second consecutive year, Greece is honoured to be hosting the Alumni Awards in partnership with the British Embassy Athens, the British Graduates Society (BGS) and the British-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce.

Finalists and award winners have the opportunity to raise their international profile, expand their professional networks and enhance their careers. Winners in Greece will be announced in January 2018 and will then be entered into the Regional Alumni Awards, alongside applicants from all other countries. Winners of the Regional Alumni Awards will be announced in March 2018, and entered into the Global Alumni Awards. The three Global Alumni Award winners will be announced in April 2018 and invited to the UK for a professional development opportunity.

Find out more about the awards – including the eligibility and judging criteria – on the Alumni Awards website.

‘It’s a great pleasure and an honour for me to be the Ambassador for the Study UK Alumni Awards in Greece again this year and to support this exciting British Council initiative, which is open to residents in Greece for the second consecutive year. Studying in the UK offered me everything that I had expected to gain and more, and I invite alumni of UK universities to apply for one of this year’s Awards! This is an opportunity for you to gain recognition for your achievements and raise your professional profile by sharing your stories with the world, while at the same time inspiring a new generation of Greeks to follow the wonderful path which has enabled you to make your dreams come true!’ – Spiros Soulis
